FoundNow Parent App and FoundNow Admin App are currently free to download. QR sticker packs are ordered in-app as a separate consumable. If a school needs a formal platform/support licensing model, NextIQ can scope options per school.
Setup is phased based on school size and readiness. Standard onboarding includes school enablement, admin-user provisioning, parent communication templates, and quick staff onboarding.
The FoundNow parent app is free to download and use. Parents pay for the smart label packs (a once-off cost at the start of the year). Schools can choose to subsidise labels or pass the cost to parents — we support both models.
The Admin App runs on any Android or iOS smartphone. It's designed to work well on entry-level devices that are commonly used by school staff in South Africa. Staff need a camera to scan QR codes and an internet connection (Wi-Fi or mobile data).
In addition to push notifications, FoundNow can also notify parents by SMS (optional add-on). The school admin team can check item status in the Admin App and assist a parent manually if needed.
Yes. FoundNow uses Firebase (Google Cloud managed services) with TLS/HTTPS encryption in transit, encryption at rest, and role-based access controls so users only see relevant data. The platform follows POPIA-aligned privacy practices.
Yes. FoundNow is built to scale. Our infrastructure handles large volumes of items, users, and notifications without performance issues. Schools with 500 to 2,000+ learners are within our target market. Contact us to discuss your specific requirements.
Labels purchased each year remain active for that year and can be transferred to new items the following year. Parent profiles carry over automatically. New students can be onboarded at the start of each year. Annual renewals include updated label packs for new learners.
Yes. School deployments include ongoing technical support via email and WhatsApp during business hours, plus onboarding updates, refresher guides, and platform updates.
